Trogir

Lying half on Čiovo, Trogir forms both the gateway to the island and its link to the mainland. From Trogir you see the townspeople's representative weekend houses on the island; from the other side you look out at the Kamerlengo fortress, see the bell tower and the roofs of the history-laden and lively town and hear the chatter in the harbour cafés only half as loudly. That is why even on a "recuperation weekend" many people of Trogir are drawn back to their town during the day - for nowhere does gossip spread and form as quickly as in the narrow lanes of this old town!

Split

One of the most popular Croatian cities lies in the middle of the Dalmatian coast, and in its own middle in turn lies a single building that alone would be worth any journey: the Palace of Diocletian forms the city centre and the origin of today's Split. When it was built by the Roman Caesar as a retirement residence, only pastures, sea and the last spurs of a mountain range surrounded it. Today streets and lanes, hotel complexes and front gardens, small private houses and the harbour promenade twine around the centre of Split. And yet, within the walls of the palace and by means of the other splendid buildings, one can without difficulty sense the flair of that time.

Omiš

Pirates built the first houses on the steep slopes above the river Cetina because they supposed they would find protection from their victims and enemies here. Today Omiš has become a more peaceful place - unexpected visitors are even welcomed, and a wide range of sport and recreation is on offer. Whitewater rafting, paragliding and climbing tours are welcome to adventure-loving guests - the rest come above all for the unique sandy beaches, for which the place is famous and popular among locals too.
