Basina

At first glance it is surprising that not more painters have settled in Basina, since the bay of Vrboska itself looks like a perfect painting - but then again, hardly any likeness could do justice to this natural beauty. And so it was above all fishermen and farmers who settled in the village of Basina, growing olives and wine, going out in their little boats and thereby making the view appear a little more idyllic and authentic still. Here, 5 km from the town of Jelsa, one can recuperate on extensive walks through the pine forests and on varied diving trips.
