From Kaštel Stari a walking path leads over 500 metres of altitude up to the Malacka heights. From up here you not only have an enchanting view over the bay, the mountain slopes and all of Kaštela, you may even be provided with delicacies. For there is a cosy hut here in which weekend excursionists can take refreshments and something to fortify them. During the week the hut is not open regularly - so then you will just have to eat your fill of the panorama!
