A stretch of beach by the harbour of Mirca. Directly behind the beach is a small beach café!

The beach lies by the small fishing harbour of Mirca and consists mainly of pebbles. Entry into the sea is gentle and thus suitable for small children too. Directly behind the stretch of beach is a small beach café. From the beach one has a wonderful view of the mainland opposite.
Brač's most famous attraction is surely the Golden Horn — the only beach in the world that constantly changes its shape. Less well known, probably, is that the island's marble clads the White House in Washington. But this island of 395 square kilometres holds more than quarries: sheep farming, arable land and, of course, leisure are celebrated here too. Taverns or sports, boat trips or excursions to the mainland — Brač is a retreat, but certainly not Robinson's lonely island.
Three hundred and fifty people live in Mirca on Brač, a quaint little place whose broad façades create the illusion of an elite lifestyle rather than confirming it. In fact the people who live among these palace-like buildings and the monumental parish church built in 1733 are thoroughly solid and down to earth. They tend their orchards and their vines and enjoy the quiet life and the good weather. And should anyone have an urgent need for more or for something else, there are two supermarkets in the village as well.
